This is a very large list of recipes where natto is an ingredient. It is also very helpful to introduce natto for people hesitant to eat natto.
As for me, I really enjoy eating natto, and I want its unique taste to be the star ingredient. There’s a saying that “less is more.” As this pertains to food, some of the best and tastiest recipes are the simplest recipes where one ingredient or taste stands out. Sometimes many recipes have a tendency to be too complicated or have too many ingredients.
That said, I always prefer simple and easy to prepare natto dishes with minimal effort and ingredients, such as natto gohan, natto maki, natto-jiru, etc.
By the way, I made some toast topped with natto, cooked eggs and Kewpie mayonnaise several days ago for breakfast. It was tasty, but I wasn’t sure what stood out, the natto or the eggs.
Anyway, you have put together an impressive list. I may try some of the simpler recipes. Thanks
Thanks Rick! Yeah, simple is the best. Natto gohan is always my No.1 favorite! I hope you will find your new favorite!
