Corn stir-fry ingredients.
  • Corn: Fresh corn gives this stir-fry the best sweet and juicy texture, but frozen or canned corn works too.
  • Bell peppers: I like pair green bell pepper with corn but other vegetables, such as zucchini or broccoli, work well too.
  • Chikuwa: Chikuwa is a Japanese fish cake made from fish paste. It has a savory flavor and chewy texture.
  • Oil: You can use any neutral or flavorful oil you like.

  • Bonito flakes: Sprinkle them on at the end for umami and a lovely aroma.
