🍵Amazake

Amazake is translated literally "Sweet sake" in Japanese but it doesn't contain any alcohol.
It's healthy nutrient rich drink that:
- Boost up your energy level
- Maintain healthy skin
- Relief fatigue
- Improve your digestive system
You can find it at a store easily in Japan(If you live outside of Japan, I'm sure asian market sell it) but I encourage people to make it on your own.
It's easy to make it and contains more nutritious as the store-bought one kill enzyme by heating process.

📋Tips for making Smoothie
Make it simple
Make the ingredients simple by limiting to 3-4 items including amazake, then it will be easier to imagine what the taste will be like.
In this post, all the recipes require only 3 ingredients.
Mix Sweet and Sour
The basic combination looks like this:
- Amazake + Sour fruit + Sweet fruit or
- Amazake + Vegetable + Sour or Sweet fruit
Some smoothies are just sweet, but adding sour fruit(such as lemon, tangerine, kiwi etc) to bring out the flavor makes the taste even more delicious.
Use seasonal food
For those who want to drink amazake smoothies on a daily basis, add seasonal fruits and vegetables and gradually change the taste to keep it going.
We drink green smoothies every morning. I use different ingredients almost every day according to the season for 10 years now but I haven't got tired of it yet!
High-Powered Blender

A high-powered blender is the key to make a silky smoothie.
My favorite is Blendtec. I've been using this for 6 years now, and I'm happy with the quality of smoothie.
I had a low-powered blender before and it couldn't crush the leaves and apple skins smoothly, so I didn't like the texture when I drank it.
It's an expensive utensil, but if you want to enjoy your smoothies daily, it's absolutely worth having it.
