Recipe Tips

  • Make it Simple: Make the ingredients simple by limiting to 3 to 4 items.
  • Mix Sweet and Sour: Adding sour fruits (such as lemon, tangerine, or kiwi) enhances the flavor and makes it even more delicious, not just sweet fruits.
  • Use Seasonal Items: Keep your Amazake smoothies interesting by adding seasonal fruits and vegetables, which will change the flavor and create new recipes.
  • High-Powered Blender: A high-powered blender is essential for making a silky smoothie. Though it’s an expensive utensil, it’s absolutely worth it if you want to enjoy smoothies daily.
  • Drink Immediately: Some fruits, like apples, quickly oxidize and change color. Prepare your smoothie just before drinking to enjoy it fresh!
