Boost your energy with this Amazake Smoothie! Blend amazake, a Japanese fermented rice drink, with fruits and vegetables to start something good for your health!

Ingredients
  

Amazake Apple Ginger Smoothie
  • 100 g Amazake, 5 cubes
  • 1 Apple, Remove the core and leave the peel on
  • 1 clove Ginger, Leave the peel on
  • 1 c Water, 240ml
Amazake Green Smoothie
  • 100 g Amazake, 5 cubes
  • 30 g Green leaves, Spinach, kale etc
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 c Water, 240ml
Amazake Blueberry Smoothie
  • 100 g Amazake, 5 cubes
  • 1 c Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 c Water, 240ml
Amazake Tangerine Smoothie
  • 100 g Amazake, 5 cubes
  • 2 Tangerines
  • 1 Persimmon, Remove the seeds and leave the peel on
  • 1 c Water, 240ml
Amazake Avocado Smoothie
  • 100 g Amazake, 5 cubes
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 1 Kiwifruit, Remove the ends and leave the peel on
  • 1 c Water, 240ml
Amazake Cacao Smoothie
  • 100 g Amazake, 5 cubes
  • 1 Tbsp Cacao powder
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 c Water, 240ml

Instructions
 

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Cut fruits and vegetables into smaller sizes.
  2. Blend: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (1-2 minutes).

Notes

  • I use homemade Amazake cubes, which are frozen in an ice tray.
  • Try taste check before serving, and feel free to tweak by adding amazake or fruits to your taste.
  • If you like a creamy smoothie, then add less water.
