Ingredients
  

  • 1 Japanese Sweet Potato, Medium size, 200g
  • 2 Tbsp Soy Milk, or your choice of milk
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  1. Preparation: Peel the sweet potato, cut them into evenly sized pieces, and place them in a medium-sized bowl. Add enough water to cover the sweet potatoes and soak for 5 minutes.
  2. Steam: Bring water to a boil in a pot, place the sweet potatoes in a steamer basket, and cover it with a lid. Steam them until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mash: Transfer the sweet potatoes to a large mixing bowl and use a potato masher or fork to mash.
  4. Mash more: Add the milk and salt to taste to the bowl and continue mashing until the sweet potatoes are smooth and creamy.
