Looking for an easy seaweed salad? This wakame avocado salad combines tender wakame, creamy avocado, and crunchy cucumber with a light, citrusy ponzu sauce. It’s ready in under 10 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp dried wakame
  • 1 avocado
  • ½ cup cucumber
  • ½ Tbsp ponzu
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Soak the dried wakame in water for about 5–10 minutes. Cut avocado and cucumber into a bite size pieces.
  2. Toss the salad: Add the wakame, avocado, and cucumber to a bowl. Pour in the ponzu sauce and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Toss gently until evenly coated. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you don’t have ponzu, mix 1 teaspoon of soy sauce with a splash of lemon juice or rice vinegar and a pinch of sugar as a quick substitute.
