Homemade Matcha Granola Recipe

If you're a matcha lover, this Homemade Matcha Granola is perfect for you! Enjoy it over yogurt or mixed with your favorite milk. You'll love the crunchy texture paired with the aroma of matcha.

Equipment

  • Silicone baking mat

Ingredients
  

  • cup Rolled oats, 200g
  • ½ cup Nuts, Almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts, etc (60g)
  • 3 Tbsp Maple syrup, 50g
  • Tbsp Oil, 50g
  • pinch of Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Matcha powder, 8g
  • ½ cup Dry fruits, Raisin, cranberries, etc (70g)

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat oven: 180C/356F
  2. Nuts: Chop nuts into small pieces.
  3. Mix ingredients: Put ingredients except for dry fruits in a bowl and mix them.
  4. Bake: Place a silicone mat on a baking tray, spread the granola on it, and bake for 10 minutes at 180C/356F.
  5. Dry fruits: Cool it down, transfer it to a container and add dry fruits and mix.

Notes

  • Storage: Homemade matcha granola will last for a couple of months at room temperature. 
  • Substitute: You can substitute maple syrup with honey or agave syrup. 
  • If your oven doesn't heat evenly, bake for 5 minutes, then rotate the baking tray 180 degrees and bake for the remaining 5 minutes. This will ensure more even baking without burning the granola.
  • Using an airtight container is convenient when mixing dry fruits. Close the lid tightly and shake the container well.
