Made with just three ingredients, this homemade garlic ginger soy sauce adds flavor to almost any savory dish. Keep a jar in the fridge, and it’ll be ready whenever you need it!
Garlic ginger soy sauce in a glass jar.

Equipment

  • Glass jar 450ml

Ingredients

  • 400 ml soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small piece of ginger

Instructions

  1. Finely mince the garlic and ginger.
  2. Place them in a clean jar and pour in the soy sauce.
  3. Keep the jar in the fridge, and you can use it from the next day.

Notes

  • Storage: Refrigerate and use within about one month.
  • If you have a food processor, use it to chop the garlic and ginger quickly.
  • A glass jar is best because plastic containers may absorb the strong aroma of garlic and ginger.
  • You can use the sauce the next day, but it becomes even more mellow and flavorful over time.
