This homemade fish burger is a big hit with my family! Crispy fish, fresh vegetables, and a creamy egg mayo sauce make it so satisfying. If you love fish, this is a must-try!
4fish fillets of your choice, Aji, cod, pollock, salmon, or any firm fish works well.
salt and pepper, to taste
all-purpose flour, as needed
1egg, beaten
panko breadcrumbs, as needed
vegetable oil, for pan-frying
For the egg mayo sauce
2boiled eggs
4Tbspmayonnaise
1tspvinegar
1tspsugar
salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the vegetables: Shred the lettuce, cabbage, and carrot.
Coat the fish: Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper. Coat each fillet with flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Pan-fry the fish: Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the fish until golden and crispy on both sides. Make sure the fish is fully cooked through.
Make the egg mayo sauce: Mash the boiled eggs with a fork, then mix with mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Toast the buns: Lightly toast the burger buns until warm and slightly crisp.
Assemble the burgers: Spread a little mayonnaise on the burger buns, add the shredded vegetables, crispy fish, and plenty of sauce. Top with the other half of the bun and serve. Enjoy!
