This Tuna and Asparagus Pasta is a breeze to make, perfect for those busy weekday dinners when you need a quick and satisfying meal on the table in no time!
Prepare ingredients: Slice garlic, cut cherry tomatoes in half, and slice asparagus diagonally. Remove seeds of dried red chill pepper and slice it. Drain the oil of canned tuna.
Boil Pasta: Put water and salt in a pot and bring to a boil. Add pasta and boil it according to the package.
Make the Sauce: While pasta is cooking, put olive oil, garlic and dried chill pepper in a frying pan on low heat. Once you smell the aroma of garlic, add cherry tomatoes and canned tuna.
Boil Asparagus: Put asparagus to the pot two minutes before the pasta is finished cooking.
Combine: Transfer cooked pasta, asparagus and pasta water to the frying pan and mix the whole. Adjust the taste with salt and pepper.
Notes
Be careful not to cook the garlic too much as it tastes bitter when it burns
It's a bit spicy, so if you eat with children, try half the portion of chili pepper. If you like spicy food, you can double it.
