Equipment

  • Medium flyring pan

Ingredients

  • 1 Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ½ block Firm Tofu, drained and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Sake
  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce

Instructions

  1. Prep the Ingredients: Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise, scoop out the seeds with a spoon, then slice diagonally. Drain the tofu and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Stir-Fry the Cucumber: Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the cucumber slices and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly softened. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Tofu: In the same pan, add the tofu and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  4. Add Sauce and Combine: Return the cucumber to the pan. Add the sake and oyster sauce, and stir gently to coat the ingredients evenly.
  5. Serve: Transfer to a plate and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, scoop out and discard the cucumber’s soft, moist seeds.
  • Cook the tofu first, then add it to the stir-fry with the other ingredients. This helps prevent it from falling apart.
  • You can also add colorful vegetables like carrots and bell peppers for variety.
