Be energetic with this amazake smoothie! Why don't you start doing something good by blending amazake, a Japanese fermented rice drink, with fruits and vegetables?


Ingredients

Amazake Apple Ginger Smoothie

  • 100g Amazake(5 cubes)
  • 1 Apple(Remove the core and leave the peel on)
  • 1 clove Ginger(Leave the peel on)
  • 1.5 cup Water(300ml)

Amazake Green Smoothie

  • 100g Amazake(5 cubes)
  • 30g Green leaves(Spinach, kale etc)
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1.5 cup Water(300ml)

Amazake Blueberry Smoothie

  • 100g Amazake(5 cubes)
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 1.5 cup Water(300ml)

Amazake Tangerine Smoothie

  • 100g Amazake(5 cubes)
  • 2 Tangerines
  • 1 Persimmon(Remove the seeds and leave the peel on)
  • 1.5 cup Water(300ml)

Amazake Avocado Smoothie

  • 100g Amazake(5 cubes)
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 1 Kiwifruit(Remove the ends and leave the peel on)
  • 1.5 cup Water(300ml)

Amazake Cacao Smoothie

  • 100g Amazake(5 cubes)
  • 1 Tbsp Cacao powder
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1.5 cup Water(300ml)

 


Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients : Peel ingredients, and cut them into smaller sizes to blend.
  2. Blend : Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (1-2 minutes).

Notes

  • 1 Japanese cup is 200ml.
  • I use homemade Amazake cubes which is frozen in an ice tray.
  • Try taste check before serving and feel free to tweak by adding amazake or fruits to your taste.
  • If you like creamy smoothie, then add less water.
